Sodapressco’s Watermelon Lemonade Slushie is a sensational treat that deserves a permanent spot in your fridge because it’s a delightful, crowd-pleasing beverage that can be enjoyed any day of the week. This refreshing twist on a childhood classic is perfect for celebrating good times and indulging your taste buds.

To craft this fantastic slushie, you’ll need 1kg of seedless watermelon, coarsely chopped. The watermelon serves as the star of the show, offering a sweet and juicy foundation for your slushie.

The juice of one lemon brings a zesty and tangy element to the mix, providing the perfect balance of flavors. Complementing the lemon is 120ml of Soda Press Co Old Fashioned Lemonade Soda Syrup, infusing your slushie with the nostalgic taste of classic lemonade.

For those looking to add a layer of sophistication and complexity to their drink, you can incorporate 160ml of Non-alcoholic Vodka. This alcohol-free alternative delivers the essence of vodka without the alcohol content, making the slushie accessible to everyone.

To create that signature slushie texture and add a delightful effervescence, finish by adding 240ml of SodaStream sparkling water. This fizzy touch elevates the drink and makes it extra refreshing.

To prepare the slushie, simply blend all the ingredients together in a blender until you achieve your desired consistency. If you’re making it for children or prefer a non-alcoholic version, you can leave out the Non-alcoholic Vodka.

Once blended, pour the watermelon mixture into a container or baking dish, cover it, and place it in the freezer for 4-6 hours or overnight. Keep in mind that the slushie may not freeze completely due to the alcohol content.

When you’re ready to serve, remove the frozen watermelon mixture from the freezer and blend it again in a blender, this time with the addition of sparkling water. If needed, add ice to reach your preferred slushie consistency.

Finally, pour the Watermelon Lemonade Slushie into glasses and serve immediately. Whether you’re looking to cool off on a hot day, celebrate with friends, or simply enjoy a refreshing treat, this slushie is sure to hit the spot.
